  1. Enables your CD recorder to function as a reader.
  2. If you are using Apple CD-ROM version 5.3.1 (part of System Software 7.6), Toast CD Reader will not load, and the Apple CD-ROM extension will attempt to control your drive, with varying degrees of success. We recommend installing Apple CD-ROM 5.3.2 or later.
